Here are a few shots of my sweet nephew Will from a recent visit to Chicago. Man, does this boy melt my heart.
Happy Valentine’s Day!
Wishing you all a very Happy Valentine’s Day! As wedding season slowed down, I somehow got busier than ever with shoots, projects, planning for next year, and a few really fun things I have yet to share here (hence the blog silence). Things have slowed down a bit now, so I am excited to dive back in and share lots of fun things here – including a slightly delayed “Favorites of 2012” post!
Hope everyone has a lovely Valentine’s Day today! I’ll be spending some time taking photos for the sweet ladies at Gus & Ruby Letterpress, where they are hosting a Valentine’s Day Pop-Up Shop featuring fresh flowers arranged by my dear friend Becca of Petal Floral Design! Come check it out if you are in need of a last-minute gift.

Our album offerings
We are working with a new album company, and I am so pleased with them, and proud to offer them to my clients! I think albums are so important, especially in this digital age. My packages all include a flash drive of photos, but the sad truth is that flash drives will probably be obsolete within the next few years. In fact, I used to offer CDs just last year, and many laptops these days don’t even come with CD drives!
Albums are a timeless way to view the memories captured on one of the most important and beautiful days of your life. You and your family and friends can gather around the album on the sofa, instead of standing around a computer flipping through hundreds of photos. Our albums are of the very highest quality and are made to last a lifetime, and then some! They are made to be passed through generations, and books will never go out of style. Here are a few photos and notes about each album.
Our first option is the linen album. These albums come in your choice of linen covers (swatches are available for viewing), and can be customized with a favorite photo and your names or wedding date on the cover or spine. The album shown here is in a 10″x10″ size.
The book is really beautifully made. The pages are stiff and lay completely flat, and the photos are printed on professional Kodak paper. The photos will maintain their color and clarity for many, many years to come.
Here are a few examples of photo spreads. I love clean, simple album designs to really showcase your photos. These photos are from Stephanie and Matt’s ridiculously beautiful wedding in the Berkshires.
The next option is the leather album. This album is not kidding around – it is very heavy and substantial, and feels amazing in your hands. It comes in your choice of leather colors, and vegan leather options are also available. Again, the cover and spine are fully customizable. The album shown below is in a 12″x12″ size.
The pages in this album are a bit thicker than those in the linen album.
Here is another example of an album spread from Stephanie and Patrick’s beautiful Cambridge wedding. I loved her style so much!
Couples often choose to use the leather album as their wedding album, and the linen album makes a beautiful parent album or engagement album. The linen album comes in at a lower price point, so it is also a great choice for couples on a tighter budget. Both albums are really beautiful, and it makes me so happy and proud to ship off a newly printed album to a client.
Samples of both albums are available for viewing, along with swatches of the many cover choices. The price of albums includes design, delivery, and a beautiful keepsake box to keep your album safe. Please contact me for more detailed information and prices.
